We’ll begin the day celebrating Mediterranean culture at the annual St. Elijah Antioch Orthodox Christian Church Food Festival.
Enjoy a variety of authentic favorites:
Cabbage rolls
Talami (a traditional Middle Eastern buttered bread recipe from the church’s original settlers in 1920)
Fresh pita with homemade hummus or tabouli
Kafta or chicken salad sandwiches
Mediterranean sundaes and baklava for dessert

Before we leave, visit the Culinary Cupboard to stock up on your favorite dishes! Choose from hot, refrigerated, or frozen options so you can take the festival flavors home.

Next, we’ll head to Enid to explore the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center, located on one of the most historic areas of the Chisholm Trail.
